Who We Are

Generation Care is a Thousand Oaks based hospice enterprise that is Medicare certified, California state licensed, and Joint Commission accredited. These credentials reflect our commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.

Our interdisciplinary care team brings together dedicated clinical and supportive professionals whose primary goal is comfort and symptom control. The team includes:

• Registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses
• Pharmacists specialized in palliative medicine

• Home health aides

Our Approach to Care

We designed our program around a fundamental truth: symptom management is a multimodal art. The whole person must be addressed, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, in order to shift the focus from losing a life to celebrating the beauty of life.

Hospice is provided wherever the patient calls home: private residences, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, board and care homes, and other residential settings. Our clinical teams come to the patient, reducing stressful hospital visits and keeping families together.

As a Joint Commission accredited organization, Generation Care meets rigorous national standards for patient care and organizational performance. We are also Medicare certified and fully licensed by the State of California, ensuring compliance with all federal and state hospice regulations.
